Our WTL Truck & Van Centre depot is quality assured to ISO9001 and is supported by quarterly quality meetings to drive continuous improvement. The engine of our quality drive is the customer; all customer comments are recorded on a daily basis by all customer-facing staff and reviewed at the end of the month so that all of our staff are recognised for their contribution and any required corrective action is put in place.

Although ISO 9001 is mandatory for Quality Management, the processes required to both achieve and maintain this accreditation are of great benefit to not only our customers but to our staff and suppliers as well. Along with ISO14001, this accreditation gives you confidence that we are operating under the most stringent environmental and safety standards within all areas of our business.

ISO4001 has also helped shape the growth and development of the Welch Group of businesses with initiatives such as the Duxford depot’s truck wash: This integrates an underground, rainwater reservoir to recycle 85% of its water from each wash, and with solar panels covering all warehouse roof space, on a sunny day the Duxford depot will actually put energy back into the National Grid.
